I am a jeweller designing and making contemporary hand crafted jewellery.
I am infuenced by structures and linea images. I lived abroad while I was young which is where I started to be influenced by surrounding architecture.
Using influences such as Norman Foster to generate ideas for my collections. Inspired by everyday objects I create modern elegant jewellery, which reflects my belief of simple, bold designs in an unpretentious style.
Shortly after Graduating in 1999 from De Montfort University in Jewellery and Metal Smithing I set up JEG Design.
I work mainly in silver, but I can make any of my peices in gold or platinum, and am happy to take commissions. My prices start from about £20.00 and go up to about £100.00 in silver.
I create jewellery with a mixture of straight lines and sweeping curves to creates a look of modern style.
Different textures and finishes create subtle colour changes from high polished to satin finishes.
I work in a small work shop in Rutland where I design, hand craft and distribute all my work from.
You will find JEG collections in various galleries up and down the United Kingdom.
