I am a painter. The basis of my paintings is an understanding of colour and colour theories in relationship to the context. Colour is the basic element through which I speak and I express my themes in colours and lines. I have been influenced by the global cultural heritage, especially before the Renaissance. Most of my paintings are on canvas and paper, but I also use other surfaces such as board or icon technique. As a muralist I do large scale paintings in public or private places. For these purposes I use mural materials, such as icon technique and mosaics. I use all other paint materials: egg tempera, oil, gouache, water colour, acrylics. I also do drawings and illustrations in my particular style. For the drawings I use mostly ink on paper, or print. I accept commissions and exhibit my work in galleries and museums, locally, nationally and internationally. My prices range from £100 up to £5000, depending on size, material and the special requirements of the client. At the moment I charge around £1000 per square metre for paintings on large scale commissions.
