Esther B jewellery is designed and made by Esther Burdett. Her work is inspired by the idea of transforming and reworking beautiful – perhaps forgotten – fragments of the past into new forms, to be treasured and enjoyed all over again.
With a long-standing passion for collecting, Esther carefully selects staple elements of couture such as fine antique and vintage silks, laces and beads.
Whether it be 19th-century hand-worked lace, a hand-painted silk collar or antique cut-glass beads, each piece is chosen for its exquisite quality and intricate detail.
She then creates finely detailed castings in resin from items of antique jewellery. These casts encapsulate and preserve the historic fragments, reinventing the content and form of each piece as a new, unique, contemporary celebration of past glamour.
Esther also offers a bespoke service, and all her pieces are designed and handmade in England.
