Mix media figurative ceramics combining paper clay, porcelain and found metal. Figures are coloured using on glaze enamels and oxide washes before Raku firing.
The focus of my work explores themes of subculture, youth and personal identity.
The translated ceramics have proven popular with all ages and have been admired for their raw portrayal of an otherwise self-closeted scene, creating figurative artefacts that reflect upon our society today.
During my career I have maintained a healthy working relationship with regional galleries and art groups through exhibiting and running regular workshops. I also a member of East Midlands Design Factory.
Commissions are always welcome.
Prices range from £150 upwards for smaller figures (average height 15cm) to £200 upwards for larger figures (average height 30cm).
