Jo Cope is a conceptually led designer, working in areas of fashion, accessory design, installation and moving image.
Her fashion work focuses mainly on one off concept pieces,
whist her accessories are the more accessible part of her work.
One of the aims of her accessory designs is to break aesthetic preconceptions.
Copes products combine function with theory to create interesting wearable pieces which can be engaged with on multi levels.
Accessory prices range from £20-£300
Cope would describe her approach to design as ‘without boundaries’
Her interest is in creating new ways of seeing and thinking about fashion. Her skills include concept development, 3D design creation, and project direction and realization and installations.
She will consider all commissions.
Of particular interest are opportunities to create larger scale new installation works within gallery and retail spaces.
