After years of working as a commercial illustrator and being involved in lecturing I have begun to paint without the confines of a brief. Influences are varied and range from Barbara Hepworth, Mary Fedden and Eric Ravelious to Howard Hodgkin, Andy Warhol and whatever music I happen to be listening to. I have a passion for typography and often include text (painted or collage)with image. I work on canvas, paper and newsprint with acrylic paint. I accept commissions and produce work in all sizes (also sell limited edition prints) Prices from £185 to £1500.
