My career as a goldsmith, making and designing jewellery seems to have been a long (30 years) process of refinement, culminating in my enjoyment of creating very simple, quirky, contemporary designs, often using less well known stones.
My artwork is equally eclectic - I like the challenge of portraiture, of achieving a likeness and an insight into the character of the subject. I also enjoy abstract painting, which may or may not reveal my character!
