Ella Louis Designs create textiles for use in the home or on the body that have a fine art quality, bringing the textural elements of painting and sculptural shapes onto fabric. Having always drawn inspiration from fine art and her surroundings Ella Louis is always trying to find new ways to balance colour to shape.
Ella Louis Desgns creates a range of silk scarves and other small accessories, by hand screen and digital printing methods, using 100% silks and cottons. Ella Louis Designs creates unique indiviual designs and accessories each crafted with care and attention to detail.
Ella Louis Designs also creates fabrics for within the home as well as the body. Ella Louis has created range of large indiviual cushions to suit any room. Any commisions are welcome from cushions to bespoke wall hangings and hand tuffted rugs.
Ella Louis work is currently on sale throughout galleries in the midlands and the National Gallery of Scotland.
Prices start around £10 for small accessories - £30 silk scarves. Prices for commisions will all vary on size
