Jenny Creasey creates beautiful and unique vessels out of porcelain.
Inspired by earlier paper samples, the vessels are paper thin and delicate. They have a wonderful translucent quality about them which is at its best when lit, even with a simple tea light.
Each vessel is unique and has an individual detail that makes it special and gives it character. These subtle, hand pierced details can vary in their form and application. One vessel may be adorned with a beautiful pattern, one may have a pattern cut out of it and there is one where the quality and value of porcelain is juxtaposed by the decoration of the vessel with something as ordinary as a shopping list.
The vessels can also be commissioned to include a piece of poignant text, a secret message, include a design or commemorate an event. Some vessels are even based on a range of phone pad notes and doodles.
