A unique range of hand printed linens inspired by traditional kitchenalia, classic design and a passion for antiques. Products range from bed linen, tea towels, aprons and peg bags to deckchair covers and traditional clasp purses. Each item is created using the finest natural cloth and printed by hand, enjoying the uniqueness and error that hand registration gives.
In many ways each print is a one off, as placement will always vary. Using a subdued colour palette with a sense of simplicity drawn from traditional design. These functional pieces, are in a way functional art works. I source antique buttons and haberdashery to highlight the individuality of each piece.
Space is an essential essence of the work allowing every element of the design to balance within the edges of each item. Every piece is considered as a whole- rather than being simply adorned with a pattern- the item is the canvas for the art work.
