- Recollections – 19 March – 27 April, Embrace Arts, Lancaster Road, LE1 7HA. Enter the inner worlds of five artists from the East Midlands as they take you on a visual journey of their very personal memories.
- Drawn to Danger - 24 March - 10 June. Snibston Discovery Museum, Ashby Road, Coalville, LE67 3LN. Work from five contemporary War artists
- The Collective - 26 March - 5 May. Creative Hinckley Gallery, The Atkins Building, Lower Bond Street, Hinckley, LE10 1QU. Formerly all graduates of De Montfort University in Leicester, “The Collective” were formed in 2010. The ‘collective’ of materials, designers and talents bring an exciting and diverse collection of work together for this exhibition
- Metamorphosis – 30 March – 29 April, New Walk Museum & Art Gallery, Leicester, LE1 7EA. Exhibition by Lougborough based artist group ArtSpace
- Suits & Sari's - 31 March - 7 October. New Walk Museum & Art Gallery, Leicester, LE1 7EA. Suits and Saris is a major exhibition that visually explores both global and Leicester stories, highlighting the fusions of British and South Asian fashion traditions.

An Expanding Atlas of Subjectivity - 4 April - 2 May. The Cube, Phoenix Square, 15 Midland Street, Leicester, LE1 1TG. 850 individual sketches created by the internationally-acclaimed artist Simon Faithfull using iPhone and PalmPilot devices in his travels across the globe.

Maggie Scott: Negotiations - 7 April - 20 May. New Walk Museum & Art Gallery, Leicester, LE1 7EA. Acclaimed UK-based artist Maggie Scott who explores the tensions and contradictions of Black British identity in newly commissioned work as part of the national crafts initiative the shape of things.
- Contemporary Traditions in Form and Colour 10 - 23 April, LCB Depot Gallery, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. Stella Karageorgi, Ben Gray & Richard Halm experiment with 2D and 3D work and explore how the use of bright colours, playful forms and humour can transform their artistic traditions to contemporary art.
- Colour and Landscape - 17 - 23 April. Pedestrian Gallery, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. This exhibition will showcase paintings by Diana Tiernan and Gill Smith, which explore abstract landscapes through colour and mark making.
- AIR - 24 - 30 April. Pedestrian Gallery, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. A group exhibition, showcasing the first independent works by four Arts and Crafts graduates.
- The Two Printmakers - 25 April - 9 May, LCB Depot Gallery, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. The collected drawings, linocuts and letterpress prints of Leicester-based printmaker John Gibbons and letterpress printmaker Sat Kalsi.

- ExhibitArt - 1 - 7 May. Pedestrian Gallery, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. The exhibition will show the work of two artists Pippa Sanger and Sarah Shepherd.
- The News - 1 - 28 May. Two Queens, 2 Queens Street, Leicester, LE1 1QW. The News is an experimental visual arts project investigating the effects of 24-hour global news through live and responsive artworks.
- Games People Play - 8 May - 29 June. Embrace Arts, Lancaster Road, LE1 7HA. An innovative project that involves series of art exhibitions, workshops and residencies on the broad idea of sports and games and at a deeper level of the ways people handle relationships.

The Stories We Tell Ourselves / 6000 Frames - 8 - 14 May, Pedestrian Gallery, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. Natasha Carraz is a conceptual lens based and installation artist that utilizes a wide range of photographic techniques and processes in her work.
- Let's Dance International Festival Exhibition - 11 - 25 May, LCB Depot, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. An exhibition linked to the two-week Let’s Dance International Festival, with performances in venues across Leicester from 12 to 27 May – including Ticket 2 Bollywood on May 17 & 18 at LCB Depot at 7.30pm with a finale later on those evenings at Phoenix Square. On show in thecafé/bar Refuel.
- Gammelgaard Monochrome - 14 May - 15 June. Creative Hinckley Gallery, The Atkins Building, Lower Bond Street, Hinckley, LE10 1QU. The exhibition will support participatory work in India and is an exhibition of international photographers called 'Gammelgaard Monochrome'
- Gold - 16 May – 30 June, SOCK Gallery, Loughborough Town Hall, LE11 3EB. Exhibition by Lougborough based artist group ArtSpace
- Re-Shirt Exhibition - 22 - 28 May. Pedestrian Gallery, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. This open submission, brought to you by Michelle Morgan and Pedestrian, is an exciting opportunity to be part of a unique group exhibition in Leicester city centre.
- Little Artists - 30 May - 2 June. Pedestrian Gallery, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. As a part of the Spark Festival, Little Artists Exhibition will showcase art created by children from the ages 0-7, inspired by diverse international artists.
- We'll Live and Die in These Towns - 30 May - 12 June, LCB Depot Gallery, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE.
Paul O’Leary, Alan Duncan & Billy Kitchener produce work based upon the city they grew up and live in – Leicester.

Touch - 14 - 27 June, LCB Depot, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. Wall-mounted sculptural pieces that gallery visitors are invited to touch, remove, pick up, and rearrange. Daniel Newton is from Leicester and is on the BA Fine Art course at Leeds University.

Pedestrian Planters - 21 August - 3 September. Pedestrian Gallery, 31 Rutland Street, Leicester, LE1 1RE. Pedestrian Planters' is a community education initiative that started in early March 2012. It's aim was to inspire different community groups in Leicester and teach them how to build planters and grow their own food in urban spaces.
