Sliksilver is a relatively new business based at Moira Furnace which was set up by artist Jo Allsopp (owner of Sable Studio Gallery in Unit 3) and potter Louise Roe (owner of Furnace Lane Pottery in Unit 7).

The two have a joint business venture which they set up in 2009 which has gone from strength to strength.  They design and make solid silver jewellery with their main focus having been with the keepsake fingerprint jewellery which is proving more and more popular.

Sliksilver also makes bespoke jewellery for that special momentus occasion and have completed many commissions which include wedding, christening, anniversary and birthday gifts.  They now have an online shop to showcase some of their work where if you are looking for that unique gift, you can purchase directly from their site.
